Brief: To create a regularly updated, hard-copy book of the detailed 'strategic' maps produced at www.eve-maps.com. The maps needed to be accessible, clearly presented, useful to the player, but also of a high enough design quality to justify a premium price point.
Approach: We opted for a wire-bound approach to the binding and a thicker card-stock for the pages in order to maximise the usability and durability factors for the average EVE player needing to access pages at a moment's notice. To facilitate the 'strategic updating' of the maps, we provide regular updated editions as well as including marker stickers to allow the player to update information 'on the fly'.
Result: Highly-successful first, second, third and fourth editions and still selling.
